A hand crafted Chinese Kang lacquered wood top coffee table. It originates from the late 18th to early 19th century of the Kang Dynasty with fantastic attention to details and craftsmanship. The rectangular top is decorated with a bird and blossom motif in various orange tones within a cartouche above a pulvinated, scalloped apron. The trim has a foliate gilt pattern above the apron and legs with a bat, cloud, and gourd motif in orange and red tones. It is raised atop four cabriole legs with gilt accents.
