A 19th century French Louis XV style lady's desk with two leaf extensions on either side, 4 small drawers and 2 covered compartments on top, and 5 drawers below. It features hand-carved acanthus leaf detailing on the upper shelf with scrolling forms on either side. The drawers are a sturdy dovetail construction with brass key holes and small ornate brass pulls. It is raised atop four cabriole legs with acanthus leaf knees and scrolling acanthus feet.
