A mid 19th c. Industrial handheld lantern by Pfeil & Co. featuring a rounded top with a hinged door and small round pull. It has a round glass view port to direct the lanterns light when the kerosene is lit. It has a brass label on the back that reads "Pfeil & Co. Tool Manufacturers, 145 To 149, St John St Clerkenwell" and embossed below that is "M.F.B, S.B"
